Are our hardtop canopies made of aluminium?
Yes. The frame is made from our custom 6063T6 aluminium extrusions and all panels are made of aluminium.
Small brackets and components are made from 304 stainless steel.
How much does each hardtop canopy weigh?
Average hardtop canopy weights are as follows:
- 50kg for all double cab canopies with no accessories fitted
- 60kg for all super cab canopies with no accessories fitted
- 75kg for all single cab canopies with no accessories fitted
Can I fit a rooftop tent to my hardtop canopy?
Yes you can!
No modifications are needed to carry weight on the roof of our canopies but you would need one of the following accessories to fit a tent:
- Roof rails with generic or manufacture specific tent mount brackets
- Roof rails and load bars with generic or manufacture specific tent mount brackets
- A heavy duty roof rack with generic or manufacture specific tent mount brackets
Remember to make sure your tent is fitted correctly and securely
Stay within the 500kg rooftop carrying capacity
Is it possible to add accessories to a hardtop canopy at a later stage?
Yes. All accessories can be added at a later stage.
Do all hardtop canopies come with a pressure vent?
Yes, all our hardtop canopies come standard with a pressure vent on the front of the canopy.
For extra ventilation a pop up vent can be fitted.
Does the hardtop canopy come with a warranty?
Yes, all our hardtop canopies come with a 5 year frame warranty and a 2 year limited component warranty.
Is powder coating better than spray painting?
Yes, powder coating is a much thicker and far more durable than paint.
We have white and silver powder coating that is almost a perfect match to all white and silver vehicles.
How are hardtop canopies fitted to your vehicle?
All hardtop canopies are fitted with six mounting brackets. Four large brackets on each corner and two centre clamps. Our brackets use existing holes in each vehicle ensuring a true "no drill" fitment.
*Most vehicle manufacturers will void your warranty or decrease your trade in vale if holes are drill in your vehicle.
*D40 Navara and NP300 canopies are fitted with bolts
